This is honestly a whole separate topic. I also didn't say "everyone in fandom" or think it was necessary to further clarify what I said. Slash shippers have various reasons for preferring slash, we get discussion threads about it often enough on here. My comment was more focused on the secret's question of why het trans ships aren't more common in fandom, to which I think the overall popularity of slash among fans of any gender and sexuality, and the amount of gay and bi transmascs in fandom are likely contributors.
