I might be able to tolerate this book being adapted as a movie to revive romcoms.

It shows the protagonist learning that getting the guy isn't everything and that she has her own worth. If an adaptation stays true to this notion, it'll help shake things up a bit.

What is everyone doing this weekend?

Another terribly hot weekend. So mostly staying inside. My niece will be spending Saturday night here so that will be busy. We are hoping to make some perlo (chicken bog) this weekend.

Haircut appointment tomorrow morning. I have serious depression hair. I've been slowly digging my way out of the depression pit and it's time for the hair to go. I haven't had it cut in about four years and it is way too long and just not healthy. Hoping to get a good cut and start the hair healing process.

I was so impressed when they 'killed' him in the Thor movie. I thought it was a great move and just worked story wise. Then he came back to life :(

I can understand that. For me that would be satisfying and really work in an rpg/storytelling sense.

But I also got really sad and angry when I was playing a female Inquisitor and couldn't romance Cassandra.

I guess I'm just both contrary and easily pleased. Let me romance everyone and I'm happy. Let me romance only certain characters and I get upset but am also happy and respect the NPC's sexuality.
