(Anonymous) 2024-07-02 01:13 am (UTC)(link)My tent is super heavy, it’s an $80 Amazon buy. I love it dearly but it weighs 5 pounds. The Durston is 17 ounces and that’s the 2 person! I was going to get the Z Packs but once I really started looking into both brands and watching videos, I knew I’d grow to hate the Z Packs quickly because of the pole positioning in front of the door. I opted for the DCF floor for the Durston even though the SIL floor options were ready to ship. I hope I don’t regret getting the noisier floor. I just know it means I won’t have to carry a soggy tent ever again or carry a footprint.
I hope you find the perfect bags! Did you get to visit REI? I think you posted a couple weeks ago that you may get the opportunity.
