I always wondered why they never did a Bigfoot episode but figured they were saving it up for something special, then never got around to it. One possible angle is the old Soviet attempt to hybridize humans and apes, that's got some conspiracy thriller potential:

Well, they did weave hybridization into the story, they just went the other direction - they did alien/human hybrids, not human/monkey.

I guess they could have done Bigfoot as a failed hybrid maybe. That could be fun!
