DA, but I mainly see it in anime/manga, JRPG, gacha, visual novel, and modern (2010-now) western animation fandoms. I don't participate in live action or book fandoms and the fandoms for older media I'm into are dead, so I don't know if it happens there.

Mostly eastern fandoms. I find western media too boring. Though I have seen it start creeping into some of the few western fandoms I'm in. I saw at least one in Hannibal.

(DA) I've seen it happen in Dunmeshi and Genshin/Honkai fandoms too, personally.
