If it's a commission then it's more clear to me. I think the artist is good, but that picture definitely gives me the wrong vibe of the couple. But then again, everyone has different interpretations of the pairing, you know? I'm in love with it as an old flame relationship, something that can't be recreated but the feelings still linger; that way it's more bittersweet and romantic to me, I guess? But that's not how it is with everyone. I just see Soi Fong as a woman of duty, now, and Yoruichi as a woman who roams.

I just couldn't see Soi Fong clinging to Yoruichi in the present that way, now. That's too much vulnerability to expose to someone who left you. So it's not really dissing the drawing or anything, just..what's going on in it? XD I'm sure her other stuff is better if it's not as weepy and clingy. I mean, before Yoruichi left I could have bought something like that happening between them...but Soi Fong has changed and has priorities, now, above hot lesbian sex ;)
