Anyone have a rough summary? I keep my distance from Genshin fandom (apart for a few chill fanartists that I follow) so I'm always a bit out of the loop what the current drama is.

She's popular because her music is incredibly earwormy and she markets herself well, and because music stans, like stans of every other form of media, have always been and will always been rabid as fuck. It really is just that simple.

The weirdest part about some people like this is if you tell them you just write because it's fun and post it in case anybody else wanted to read it, they don't believe you because it's impossible that you can post something and be unconcerned about whether it gets attention. Like some of them literally believe every author feels that way, and the ones that say they don't are lying and secretly thirsting for kudos or whatever.

Coincidentally, the people who do that also tend to not be very good authors, considering the trouble they have imagining things from POVs not their own...

I write fic. I’ve only recently gotten back into it after a long, long time of not writing anything.

I am not posting the fic for the comments but it certainly is nice when somebody enjoys what I’ve put out there enough that they take the time to do so and I appreciate it.

it's hard to explain in a few words. Basically, Tectone and Atsu are enemies from a few years ago. Recently there was a large drama covered by Asmongold even because Atsu didn't like Braxophone and allegedly blocked Braxphone from Genshin's money because he had influece over community management. Tectone jumped on the drama. More recently Atsu wrote a long letter about how he doesn't care about NDA anymore because his wife cheated on him and his streaming took a dive because of the drama. He said that Braxophone had a contract with Genshin all this time so he didn't block him fom any opportunitis.

I can't decide what is worse, the pathetic groveling for comments like the example in the secret, or the guilt-tripping screeds that SOMEONE IS GIVING YOU THEIR LABOR FOR FREE, IF YOU DON'T COMMENT YOU ARE LITERALLY SPITTING IN THEIR FACE AND RIPPING APART THE FAN COMMUNITY

I've made a personal goal to comment more often because I know people appreciate it, but seeing shit like this just makes me want to drop back into permanent lurkdom.
