The way fandoms move so fast is on the long list of reasons why I lost a lot of enthusiasm for it. I've always been one to stick with things for at least a year and a half (if not even longer) but everyone jumps to the next thing every few months.

... I've only really been in 3 fandoms over 30+ years.

Nayrt - Yeah, to me that's not long at all, honestly. But I guess compared to people who jump fandoms every few months, it is.
