Honestly yeah.

I will never disagree with a headcanon or whatever because unless explicitly stated, it's all very valid. But the amount of "x is y because I said so" and the implied if you are not in love with the idea of it/have a different headcanon, you are homophobic/transphobic/xyzphobic is really exhausting.

Similarly, it's annoying when someone states something that the canon outright contradicts and then says it's their "headcanon." I don't mind people filling in gaps or, at the very least, calling their idea an AU. But I start wondering why the person even is a fan of the story when they seem to only be interested in a completely different story.
