Till a negative test, and I was told by the HR person I shouldn't come back without a negative test. I did end up having to leave early the day I was back because I had trouble breathing and had to go to my allergist. But I okayed that with the big boss.

So honestly I'm a bit in shock. I'm getting mixed signals.

If HR said wait for a negative test, you should go in all confused and ask about it. Don't be bullied into signing anything.

This. Hoist them by their own petard if they've already set out guidelines for dealing with COVID. "I was just following company rules" is the approach to take, along with politely inquiring of them what you should have done. Let the burden be upon them to lay out the rules and don't let them weasel out of them.

Hard agree with anon above me! I wouldn’t sign and I’d let my natural confusion about it show. Bonus if you can prove you were told to wait until you had a negative test.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. My original comment probably came off as super cold and that wasn’t my intention. I’m a very heart of the matter kinda person vs heart person, sorry about that.
