If that's true, I feel sorry for you. Draco and Chuck are not the same, and if you read about Draco and think of Chuck, you're reading something OOC. On the surface they might seem similar, but they are very, very different.

Also: WTF Ginny and Blair are not at all alike srsly wtf.

Chuck seems closer to Fanon!Draco imo

Quite. Leatherpants Draco and Chuck are, in fact, very similar, but there is a very good reason that leatherpantsDraco is not a widely respected genre of fic.

But iz Chuck's hed pastede on yay?

I just recently got back to reading some Draco/Ginny because I felt like it and I started out as a fan when I started reading HP fanfictions. I went to FandomWiki and from there by a rec list of the most popular D/G fanfiction which I enjoyed (at least some) but as the secret stated I noted the fanon Draco was very like Chuck and the whole relationship seemed very Chuck/Blair. I love Chuck/Blair but it's not D/G.

I've said it before and I'll say it again*:

The character from GG Draco reminds me of the most is Jenny. I get a sense of sweaty desperation and pettiness from both of them. But Jenny rocks infinitely harder. And Ginny (Book 6, on) seems more like Serena for me, both being the designated It Girls.

That said, they're also in many ways very different people.

*On that note, why do HP/GG comparisons arise so often? Huh?

103. Yeahhh, kind of, I can kind of see it. For me D/G reminds me of Buffy and Spike more though.
