I've dabbled in Mickey/Jake fic but it seriously seems to be a fandom pairing that is severely lacking any love :(

Not tomention it's hard to find pics of the actors to make half assed some pretty bad manips. Not that I have tried or anything nope. Not me. Never ever.


IMO the only reason Mickey decided to stay behind in non!alt universe was because Jake was either killed during a previous Torchwood mission OR Jake decided he quite liked Mickey's home universe and was setting them up a home there.

There's a deleted scenes thingy on the S2 DVD set and the scene when Mickey tells Jake that he won't try to be a replacement for Rickey, Jake says that he'll never have another boyfriend like him and Mickey's all like "Yep, not a replacement."

So, basically, Rickey/Jake was canon so Mickey/Jake can totally be canon, too.

JAKE/MICKEY AWWW! To this day, they are one of my favorite favorite Who!ships, and that includes Old Who. As far as I'm concerned, it's canon. I would definitely join a comm. Just saying. /daylate
