Groomers are people who manipulate kids into relationships, not anime characters existing in fictional anime with sketchy tropes where an adult and teenager just happen to be the main couple through fiction relationships logic that can’t be applied irl.

"hot for teacher" has been a well-established trope for literal decades now.

I mean a fictional character can be, canonically, a groomer. Grooming can be a behavior a fictional character engages in, within the narrative, the same way they can be canonically a rapist or murderer without existing in RL and raping/murdering any RL people. So the whole "groomers are people not anime characters" bit feels kind of irrelevant to the point OP seems to have been making. Like, I don't get the impression OP was claiming the character is real or has groomed any actual, real life children. It seems like OP is merely skeeved by the character's actions within the story, and the approach the narrative has to said actions.

Not saying I agree with OP. I have never seen this cartoon and do not care enough to look up a synopsis.
