As a youtubers RPF enjoyer I actually agree. They are much more closer to you, there is the whole parasocial thing, a lot of them are basically much more aware of the fandom. It feels invasive and sort of cringe.
Yeah, I am still into it, but I try not to mix them with my usual fandoms and it's all a bit of guilty pleasure
