Absolutely agreed. I've only watched one episode of Caped Crusader so far, but I liked everything about it - except Linklater's voice for Bruce.

If they'd kept it to just Batman (the way both Conroy and Bale - who I think also influenced the choice of how to voice him - did), then it could have worked even if seeming a pale riff on Conroy and Bale, but keeping the same flat-affect rasp for Bruce...no. (I say 'they' because I don't know who in the chain of command - Linklater, the voice director, Timm, someone else? - decided to play him that way.)
