sometimes i straight up thought he was sexist honestly (just sometimes i would think "now why would he say it like that" when he was talking to a female contestant), but honestly i think a tiny bit of meanness was part of the training for game show hosts of a certain generation. that said, i didn't like the type of jokes pat sajak would have with vanna, those seemed more mean-spirited to me.
