I'm not using asterisks because I want to italicize things. If I wanted to italicize things, I would use HTML and do it. I'm using asterisks because I want to use asterisks to emphasize things.

And second... yeah, that's fair! You don't have to like what they were going for, or think that they pulled it off. I just think it was an intentional choice to make him not a debonair spy.
