I LOVED vivid rainbows, was a Lisa Frank girlie through and through. Always was grumpy that I couldn't have loudly-painted walls in my room and retaliated in my young adulthood by covering my walls and ceiling with colorful anime posters/calendar pages. I learned moderation and color theory as I grew older, but generally I still gravitate to vivid rainbows over pastels or monochrome, with the exception of iridescence/opalescence that can add more color range depending on the lighting (you bet I love foil treatments on trading cards! If only WotC could get that pringling under control...).

Color delineation needs to be clean though, I couldn't stand when things went outside the lines or overlapped, though now I can understand and tolerate it when it's an artistic choice and not a mistake.
