dude if you're serious i'm surprised because that really seemed like a GOTCHA moment from you

(human pheromones are still on debate and possibly a myth, but for conversation's sake:) trans-women who are actively going through HRT may be emitting pheromones similar and/or equal to sexually fertile (ugh) cis women, but studies suggest that pheromones come not only from hormones but mainly from genitals and especially from vaginal fluids. (I thought this was common knowledge in a pseudo-science way but maybe not?)
Now, trans women can have a vagina, but it will never be the same as a cis woman's vagina. And not all trans women go through HRT, come due to lack of access to it, some because they don't want/need to medically transition.
Hence why your "if transwomen are women then they're going to produce the pheromones of women" seems like an insidious GOTCHA moment. It implies that "if trans women are real women then they should emit the same pheromones as cis-women because they are biologically women" which... no.

...i kind of feel dirty writing all this. ...pheromones BLEARGH

Ok, if they come from fluids that originate in a uterus, I could buy that only ciswomen have certain ones. But it seems to me transwomen would still have them, but that they'd have subtle differences. I don't see any reason why a transwoman wouldn't give off the pheromones of her sex since the underlying biology is there.

? trans women have male hormones if they don't get HRT. That's the whole "transness" part of them.
i guess all this depends on where you think pheromones originate from (brain? hormones? vagina?), but pheromones in human are pseudo-science at best, so this is all pretty useless thought exercise in the end.
still, i hope you got why i thought you were trying to "get me". please beware of trans-medical rhetoric in your "trans women are women".
still not sure you're entirely benign, but i don't like to think bad of people on principle. life is too short for that bs byeeeeh (^_^)/
