Get in shower
Get hair wet
Condition hair
Wash body
Shampoo hair
Once and a while use exfoliater
Rinse

I shampoo first if I got my hair particularly dirty or sweaty or it just needs a deep clean.

Wait, you do conditioner and *then* shampoo?

Yes. Shampoo strips your hair of natural oils, and then conditioner is supposed to replace them. If you do conditioner first, it protects those oils from the shampoo. My hair gets really oily if I do shampoo first from my scalp trying to frantically replace the oil.

Interesting! I only started using conditioner recently. The house I moved into has water that has made my hair so sad and dry, the conditioner helps a bit. I'll have to try your way and test results!
