Is it the ship itself you find annoying, or these particular posts? What is annoying about them? (I feel nosy, lol.)

Also loving the show, but I haven't gotten into the fandom. I'd honestly be more surprised if there WEREN'T annoying Lestat stans and ship wars. But why are people doing RPS to this show?? Do I even want to know?

Not OP, but the reasons people are RPFing are:

1. There's RPF about anything that's popular enough

2. The actors are very hot, but the characters have super complicated and problematic relationships in canon and sometimes you're just in the mood for something else

3. Sam Reid and Jacob Anderson appear to have a very cute actual friendship

4. Assad Zaman has said some frankly insane things in interviews

And thanks to you as well. LOL, that's great :D. I have been rather curious to check out this show based off all the praise for it, hearing how much the cast seems to be enjoying working on this show is certainly adding to the interest :).

Nothing bad, he just walked in with full knowledge his character and Bogosians get together in the books, Bogosian thought that was insane but they brought some sexual tension to their roles. Assad seems very excited/into it and so does Bogosian? As an older actor, it is a pretty fresh opportunity

Ahhhhh, okay, gotcha, thanks :D. That's great - I'm glad he seems to be having such fun with the role like that and has clearly done his homework. It is nice when an actor gets to enjoy playing a character like that, though, yes, I can also easily see where that could get some of the more...rabid and intense fans all worked up.
