Re: Exercise/Strength Training?

I don't have a link handy but the search term you want is "bodyweight" exercises - you can customize your workout based on your flexibility, current strength, etc. For example, I can only do squats when my knee isn't hurting, so I can add or subtract a few reps depending on the day. You don't need equipment, just yourself.

Be careful searching youtube, though. My physical therapist sent me a link to show me a technique and the next thing I knew my feed was all pseudoscience fake therapists promising their one foolproof trick to X/Y/Z. And legit PTs also pushing clickbait solutions, at the same time, it's hard to filter which ones are legit. Thankfully, websites with step-by-step photos exist.

Oh thank you! I am new to the whole exercise and healthy lifestyle thing, so thank you for the terms to help me search. I just kind of started moving more and eating less, but now I feel ready to do some more formal stuff. Also ty for the warning!

Ty again for this! The term helped me find a few sites that recommended just starting super basic and helped me get my mind out of the old school "exercise program" mindset. I started this morning with 3 sets of each: squats, push ups (wall), mountain climbers, and glute bridge!
