OP Why? I already know they do. I'm surprised that people that don't feel any sexual feelings or do not like sex write anything about sex at all.

speaking for myself: i am very sex repulsed. i think its disgusting, i don't get why people do this shit. so, obviously, i want to see why, because i feel isolated by the rest of humanity, but i also write Freak Shit bc there's some bizarro-land psychology going on i find relatable because it is so unnatural. i am the freak for thinking two people who love each other very much is disgusting, so... here's my noncon necrophile incest or whatever. its all about the freak aspect, really.

NA

It's the same logic though? Why are lesbians writing about men having sex when they don't feel any sexual feelings for men or do not like men sexually?

I'm ace and I tend to write for f/f 'ships. I don't get graphic -- but because those are the relationships that I enjoy reading about / interacting with, they kinda do inevitably get up to sexy times. I mostly fade to black, but that's my own personal preference.

I took slash to mean 'slash about lesbians', but go off, I guess.

Fictional characters can have feelings that you don't personally experience, and it's interesting when they do. You can also use characters to explore thoughts and scenarios you would never want to happen to you in real life.

Someone failing to grasp that is... rare, honestly.
