Dozens of fanfics have made me cry. 98% of the things that have made me cry in the past 20 years have been fanfics.

I always cry during the first couple thousand words of Slithering by astolat (Drarry). Another one that always gets me is "Make Whole What Has Been Smashed by gigantic (Johnlock), in which Sherlock experiences time in reverse, like Merlin.

Hell, I cried yesterday reading Smoke Signals by resurrectedhippo (Starker, Peter Whump). I didn't even love this one all that much, but the way Peter's grief, depression, and loneliness were depicted hit a little too close to home.
