Potatoes. Rice is way more of a staple for me than potatoes are. I mostly just eat potatoes as a side dish, and not even that often. I always get yam fries at restaurants if I have the option, and the shitty, mass-produced pierogis I can afford suck enough that I would barely miss having them.

I think the thing I would miss most would be samosas, actually. I'm pretty sure I could get samosas without potato, but the cheap, comforting ones I get from a neighborhood hole-in-the-wall are like 90% potato, and I would really miss those things.
