It wasn't subtle, did people really not get this? I'm not in fandom discussion places, so I've only got my own offline/irl friends and we all fully understood the plot/joke.

Considering there are people out there who thought Rage Against the Machine only got "political" recently, I'm perfectly willing to believe there are a LOT of people who didn't get it.

So what did people believe?

Relatedly, the Loki episode that takes place in the void is great. Highly recommend it. Richard E Grant plays a Loki-variant.
