I went to a brunch place with my mom a couple of weeks ago and there were two (TWO!) hairs in my french toast but we decided they must have been like part of the apple that was on top of it or something because they did not have the texture of human or animal hairs??

once my sister-in-law found a whole ass grasshopper in her panera salad so rip we never went back.

AYRT - hmmmm... I don't THINK it was insect-related - it was thick and kind of fibrous? they were fuji apples I think but my mom thought they might be part of the stem or something idk. they were weird little hairs and I just put them aside and ate my delicious caramel apple french toast and it was lovely except for that one off-putting part.

Once, someone from the table next to mine pointed out a caterpillar in my salad. I hadn't noticed it at all. :/
