I'm neutral on Lance. I liked Alliance because I loved Allura and could see the potential after he started liking her for who she was and not just Because Hot Girl (a thing OP seems to think never happened) and she worked well with him as a team.

But even when Lance did just like Hot Girl and not Allura the person, it wasn't perverted. It's such an anti-adjacent attitude where any shallow attraction is seen as perverted. And I've seen it make a lot of real people (usually young people) feel guilty for having crushes. OP should feel bad for promoting that way of thinking.

And this is coming from another Shieth shipper.
