I once made and submitted a secret in a fit of rage, and then a couple days later asked that it not be posted because once the rage wore off I realized it was very mean spirited

Regretted a few. There was one or two that unexpectedly turned into a wankfest in the comments, despite the fact that the original secret had nothing to do with the wank. And then there were some intended as positive, lighthearted secrets that somebody decided to take a dump on and kill the mood. It's like, thanks.

So far, no. But I was very distraught the first time I made one that cause a big, angry war in the comments, and I completely didn't see that coming. People were really nice the next day when I went to the general comments to apologize, and assured me that sometimes the comm just seems to attract anons who are in a bad mood or want to fight. And hanging around more, I saw for myself that was true. But also that most people here were relatively fun to read and not picking fights just for the sake of it.
