Doesn't everyone do that? I definitely do that. Mostly because while I love the cookie part, the frosting inside is just okay. So I always eat a bunch of the sides with more frosting first and save a few frosting-free sides for the end.

If you don't like Oreo filling, I recommend going to the baking section of the grocery store and looking for Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafers. They're there for fillings or cookie crusts and are basically Oreo cookies without any creme or any molded logos. (They also tend to be really thin and crispy.)
