If you read the notable incidents for the parks in Florida, they aren’t related to ride operation or maintenance. And having been a witness to someone falling getting onto a slow moving story ride (the old Snow White) WDW used to have a policy that guests could refuse slowing or stopping the ride for them. It was super common for older people who needed the ride paused to insist that they didn’t.

Tbf I am not into theme parks to start with though (we hadn't have them when I was a child, and I've only been in a Disneyland Paris when I was a teen. As an adult I find it a nightmare). But this is much too much
