There's a subsect of a TV show fandom I'm in that constantly seems to be assuming the worst of the showrunner, and it's always very funny whenever they are proven wrong.

People neglect to realize that parasocial hatred of a celebrity is still a parasocial relationship, i.e. they don't know you exist and you're still treating them like a personal nemesis purposefully doing things to hurt you. I don't think it's any healthier.
