Sadly it's a vicious cycle. A lot of parents can't afford babysitter every time their child sniffles. And they don't have grandparents available.
Don't get me wrong, a lot of people are just assholes. But work system sucks. And some people can get fired even for one missed day. So yes, your anger issues are your problem as you think that parents work issues are their problems.
