Yeah, okay, this is probably a racist secret.

But, dragging it back to fandom, there have been some pretty crappy interpretations in the past of interracial relationships in media and I'm glad that it's not just white man / black woman anymore (because those used to have unpleasant undertones).

That said, my favourite interracial relationship was Harry / Veronica in Widows, because those unpleasant undertones were allowed to be on top and shown as deeply gross and fundamentally incompatible with a good relationship.
