I mean, sucks, but that one's on you. Huge difference between "regular" abo and intersex kink.

(Anonymous) 2024-10-13 03:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeeaaaaaaaaaaaah, intersex omegas is not 'traditional' a/b/o. I know I actively avoid it myself because it triggers my dysphoria. I read a/b/o because traditionally there is a LACK of vagina, and throwing one in there with a dick doesn't change the fact that it's still there and it's still being used. No thank you.

At the very least, anon should have asked the friend before dumping their niche kink on them and then pouting about the friend not being appropriately grateful...

(Anonymous) 2024-10-13 07:36 pm (UTC)(link)
OP of the comment - she knows I write intersex omegaverse and it is always tagged. I've written it before and she's read it and liked it, or so I thought (she left kudos and nice comments and talked to me about it and the process of writing it, etc.) She just happened to mention after the last one that she didn't care for it (in response to reading another author friend of ours' tagged intersex omegaverse fic, not even my fic, actually now that I think of it).

But go off accusing me of being a shit person I guess?

da

Idk why above anons assumed the worst, sounds like a genuine misunderstanding and lack of communication to me.

(Anonymous) 2024-10-13 07:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe you should have added this context to your original comment then because that comment did not hint towards any of what you wrote here and we're not mindreaders.

(Anonymous) 2024-10-13 09:05 pm (UTC)(link)
maybe you should not be assuming the absolute worst of someone at all times when you know you don't have all the context? you know, since you're not a mindreader?

(Anonymous) 2024-10-13 09:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Nah, if you complain that your friend didn't like the super specific niche kink you dumped on them in a genre that doesn't necessarily has that kink as a common thing it's pretty reasonable to assume they weren't into the kink and you were being an inconsiderate person.

(Anonymous) 2024-10-13 09:47 pm (UTC)(link)
now I think you just either didn't read OP's secret or the comment thread started here because yeah, them not liking it and the OP feeling bad was the point of the whole conversation, so good on you for spotting that I guess? sounds like you saw something YOU don't like in fandom and jumped the gun and were rude to comment!OP because you don't like that kink and assumed how you would feel in that situation, instead of thinking about what they were actually saying?

(Anonymous) 2024-10-13 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
... maybe try looking at this comment thread again. You might just get what this was about.

what IS it about, in your opinion, then?

Ouch? Sounds like they genuinely misunderstood and thought the friend was positive about it.
