I have no respect for Oprah because she is convinced you have to belong to a religion in order to have any ethics. I'm an atheist and I'm just as ethical as anybody else.

Honestly, you are probably more ethical because you know your values well and adhere to them because they are important to you.

My aunt said something similar once and I think about it now and then, because what a weird way of thinking. I get my morals and ethics from my own sense of self and empathy etc, I think it is much weirder to need a book to tell you right from wrong.
