I dunno, I enjoyed her being there. Also she seemed genuinely upset when they eliminated that snail bread girl, ugly crying and all.

I really enjoyed her on Bake Off, she seemed to have a time. I dont really think her comments mean she hated every minute. I have definitely had jobs that I enjoy overall but at the same time felt like I was losing brain cells because it just wasnt that intellectually stimulating.

I liked her as a host - I stopped watching from Paul Hollywood fatigue, not because of Sandi. You can do a good job and still not like the work.

she's still better than that damn Noel.

I didn't think she was a good fit either but that's not necessarily the kind of thing that you can tell in advance. I don't have a problem with her having a go at it, and then cutting her losses when she realizes it wasn't for her.

And they really haven't been able to find people who work well since, either. No disrespect to anyone involved, they're doing their best, but it's tougher than it seems.

Nobody beats Mel and Sue. They were the best, along with Mary Berry. :(

I really enjoyed her, and I thought she was a good team with Noel. The vibe I want from the hosts is a slightly hard to thread needly of: a baking competition is sort of silly, and the solemnity is silly, and the judges are sort of absurd fr getting all up in arms about split custard or whatever BUT the BAKERS themselves are not at all silly or absurd, they are championed and encouraged and supported by the hosts. Does that make sense? It's why I thought Matt Lucas was bad - he didn't seem like he had their backs.

I read her interview in the times, and I was surprised that she went in against Bake Off as much as she did - it seemed surprisingly ungenerous, considering other times she's been interviewed about post-bakeoff life she's been quite quite clear that she wasn't a megafan of the show, but had good words to say.

I took a job for the paycheck. Hated it, but loved the paycheck. Can't really judge her for taking the money, sometimes you gotta do it.
