Edge of Sleep tv show rant (but not about the actual show)

This show has been on the shelf for about 3 years and for some reason it wasn't allowed to be advertised before the official release date on the 18th (more confusingly, wasn't allowing the actors in the show to say which streaming platform it would be shown on before the date) - and now it's been released 3 days before the official date, but only in America on Amazon Prime.
It just feels like it's being set up to fail for some reason :/

Is there a work of fiction that you would want the same kind of job as the character/s in that universe? Even if it's a really romanticized version or could only exist in the realms of fantasy?

Ngl, after years of reading coffee shop!AUs I do catch myself daydreaming of working in a themed cafe and making nice pastries - despite the fact that I have a slight phobia of food (due to severe gluten allergies) and after working in retail I know damn well how asshole-ish customers can get.

For me it's an early morning.
I feel sort of empty. I've started my job as a contractor with an arrangement if everything is okay I am going to be an employee. 1) My contract was extended because I took a couple of days off work with a flu (I've powered through the main part of it too but what do they care) 2) There was a freak technical issue with a important file not reuploading fast enough. No one believes that it was technical. But frankly I am starting to suspect that they have downloaded the previous file before and now using it to keep me as a contractor instead of full-time employee.
Also had my cavity filled yesterday (augh expensive) so I am super cranky about it.

Sorry for using this thread for a rant I just really need it

...no, I lie, I have enjoyed Chagall Guevara's extremely overdue second album that came out last year but it's got a few duds compared to the 1991 album.
