If they had just been honest from the start and admitted they didn't care that Xander was victimized, I still would have called them out, but I would have at least respected them for being upfront about their bias and let it go as a difference of opinions and morals. Instead, they chose to gaslight and victim-blame someone whose mind and body were overpowered by another person's will and forced to endure mental torture, and then denied it was even "that bad."
