Man, either you have just not seen the full extent of the internet's reaction to her post or you need to, like, touch grass and get a proper sense of scale. People are out here making tons of videos flipping out about this at length. Hours and hours spent tearing apart one very minor celebrity who was a dick and made a fool of herself one time on the internet. Even your phrasing of "abusing her power" -- jesus, she saw something that upset her and explained (melodramatically) why it upset her and made a fan who didn't deserve to feel bad about their art feel bad about their art and didn't take it back when she was wrong. That isn't "abusing her power" -- it is her being a dick and making a fool of herself in public. The response has not been proportional at all and your framing of it is part of the overreaction to her overreaction. It's all the same phenomenon. You can rake her across the coals for it or you can move on with your life.

It IS abusing her power though, even if she did it involuntarily. And she didn't make a fan "feel bad about their art", she made a completely unrelated person who just reblogged the edit get death threats and doxing attempts and never apologised for it. She deserves getting sneering videos made about her, because that's much less harmful than what she did to that fan account and she actually brought it on herself.

This. There's a HUGE difference between a celebrity being an asshole on main and some tiny little Joe Schmoe doing the same thing.
