I don't really have any attachment to the properties they were referencing so it didn't actually bother me all that much. I can see what you're saying though.

It has been pointed out to me since I posted this secret that part of the idea was that Lilia hates the commercialism of witches, which I honestly forgot, so, I see it in a slightly different light now, but did they have to put him in a Maleficent costume?
