At its best, it's very well made pulp fiction. I, personally, have a deep and abiding love for pulp fiction. Therefore, I like James Bond. Not complicated.

Read a romance novel, you get what you expect. Read a Tom Clancy novel, you get what you expect. Watch a Bond movie... watch a shounen anime...

Do all these have problematic aspects? Sure. They're known and part of the genre they're in though. I'd settle for people being aware of that vs. eliminating them entirely.

Yes, they have problematic aspects, but so does everything else in the world, including all the things the morality wankers deem "pure" and "wholesome."
