foamboard maybe but nah, hot glue by itself isn't flammable, nor is stryofoam really. the hot glue GUN may be risky, if it's a quality one not one of the sad low-temp ones you get at Michaels, but a candle flame won't set glue or foam on fire.

Yeah as someone who lived next to an abandoned house that caught fire a ridiculous amount of times: it's dried foliage you need to worry about.
