There's a channel on PlutoTV that's just old episodes of this, I have it on sometimes for noise. If the reboot was a weekly thing, they'd absolutely do the "an angel visited me!" stories too, because there honestly is only so much material to put out on a weekly bases.

(the JonBenet episode came on and they were like "it's been six weeks since the mysterious death...." and I just went 😬)

HOWEVER.....it is extremely annoying that the reboot just focuses on the big hitters. There's some extremely good, more recent phenomena featured, like s15e10 about the 2011 tsunami ghosts, but very rarely do we trod new ground...
