I'm not even mad about the idiots who voted for Trump, I'm much more angry at the fuckers who didn't vote for Harris because "wah genocide" and because she wasn't the holiest cow in the room for them. That's the people who are to blame and I hope they choke on their sanctimonious bullshit.

Yeah. I mean... yeah. This has always been a problem for Democrats and the Democratic vote. I don't know why, but it's recurring thing where they sabotage their own chances by doing stupid shit like voting for a third party candidate, not voting at all because the Democratic pick wasn't a paragon of progressive thinking, etc. All just to prove a point, the point being that liberals have an obliviously stupid streak a mile wide - and I say that as someone who has voted blue for every presidential election since I became eligible to vote.

I will never understand how people fail to get that they're shooting themselves in the foot, cutting their own noses off to spite their face. If Harris is an unpalatable President for many, what's Trump? You might as well don a MAGA hat, no use pretending you're anything else.

Given that Republicans also won both houses of congress, I don't think it was those people that were the ones who got Trump the win.

Yeah, it's like... oh, you don't like seeing genocide in other countries? So you'd prefer the chance to see it on your own country's soil?

Like this really, really wasn't a hard choice. It wasn't a trick question, it wasn't some funny prank somebody set up. We weren't gonna have Harris win only to go "haha! Gotcha! WE'RE GONNA BE SO MUCH WORSE THAN TRUMP NOW LOL!" I just can't understand how they could have gone through the four years of Trump and think, "mmm yeah, wiping my ass with kitchen towels while Grandma died alone on a ventilator was great, and seeing minorities and LGBTQ treated like shit and women having their rights taken away was totally fine, just as long as I can vote with my CONSCIENCE!!!!!!! Let's sign away America's future to that so at least I can sleep at night!!!!!!"

It wasn't a hard choice, America. It really, really wasn't.
