I just want to know how Carrie gets all those men. It sure can't be her looks or her personality.

she goes to a lot of parties/clubs/bars with people from a certain economic class. at that point it's not hard regardless of looks or personality, of which carrie doesn't really have any major issues when you consider the whole group.

I really don't like takes like this.

It encourages society to allow us to expect men to value looks above all else, and even a skinny blonde blue eyed woman isn't good enough to pass the "conventionally attractive" title.

To me, I've seen women with "plainer" features than SJP with less personality and with much less fashionable flair be romantically desired by a large group of men. So I really don't get why people are so quick to make jokes about how "ugly"/"not attractive" SJP is.
