I keep hoping he'll have a stroke and Vance will...have something else happen to him. It wouldn't be the solution, but it'd make me feel better.

Vance doesn't know his arse from his elbow, so he'd just be a figurehead. Not sure if that would be good or bad.

Vance hates whoever the people in power tell him he's supposed to hate and makes Rudy Guiliani look principled. As far as I can tell, he's got no agenda of his own beyond "move up in the world," and he's got the charisma of a dead snail. So, he's a step up from Trump in that he's mostly unelectable on his own, and probably wouldn't sell our military to the Russians or fill the Grand Canyon with nuclear waste and shoddy condos, but still a big step backwards when it comes to the Supreme Court and civil/reproductive rights.

He just has to make it to the halfway point of his presidency, then we can have ten years of Vance unless the Democrats manage to run a candidate that doesn't alienate half their own base and energize most of the Republican one. Harris was a bad candidate right from her coronation instead of a primary.

No, she wasn't.
