Hm. I love One Piece and I'm usually picky about art style. I dunno, maybe because the style is fun and is very different? I'm not sure. I definitely understand the complaints though, especially about 90% of the women. But then again, I also deeply enjoy ONE's art in the One-Punch Man webcomic and MP100. I can also accept weird or wonky art if the story is phenomenal - I think One Piece counts as having an amazing story.

ONE is legitimately bad at drawing, but he has a great sense of composition. There’s some really amazing panels in his manga thanks to that.

Oda on the other hand is a good artist, but his style is unique and REALLY hard to copy, so the anime sometimes looks much more offputting than the same shots in the manga.
