I'm not a fan of generalizations, but if they're just stating a fact, that doesn't automatically make it racist or sexist (it could, but not necessarily). And selfish is one hell of a stretch even if ayrt *was* being racist/sexist.

You're also ignoring the privilege of the group mentioned. Judging by your response, I'd guess you don't agree, but it's the duty of the privileged to help out the non-privileged. Showing up to the poll is one way of doing that.

The newspaper itself is confusing. I don't understand where it gets the funding. The site's subject matter is what I'm interested in but it uses emotional and manipulative words which is not a good journalism.
