I've done that too. (Haven't made icons, but now I like that idea!) I think about how funny it's be to troll ONTD posts about myself (I heard of some celeb who did that; I think it was Chris Pratt) and make people happy by writing back to them and vowing to be a nice celeb and always do autographs and stuff...and then I feel totally arrogant. D: I just wanna make people happy with my insane-fic-turned-award-winning-movie!! Is that so wrong?!

There's no harm in having stupid daydreams - I mean, what writer hasn't daydreamed about what it would be like to write a book that really took off and became famous? So long as you know it's incredibly unlikely to ever happen, why not dream?

Aw shit, I've given my friend group's fandom so much consideration that it borders pathetic. We've figured out names for all the ships, the Ensemble Dark Horses, who people would RP, the whole nine yards. Don't feel bad. It's hella fun. :3

I'm surprised by how many people this this is ridiculous. My friends and I do the same thing. It's all in good fun of course, but we wonder who the popular pairings would be, and we come up with usernames for these fans who don't exist. I don't know, it's not something we do all the time but when it comes up it's a lot of fun. I've even made a batch of icons of some friends and some pairings we've come up with.

First off, I think the icons thing is pretty funny, because I always thought that the original (really old-school) purpose of icons/avatars and the like was probably to show a picture of the poster, but whatevs.
